How much does it cost to join Orca?
Orca is free for Limited Partners to use. Furthermore, there is no limit on the number of users that an individual LP can have.
How do I use Orca?
Orca is designed with simplicity in mind. GP data is uploaded to Orca, where it is made available to LPs in a uniform format. LPs use Orca to find and add Gps and Strategies to their pipelines and workflows and contact the GPs they are interested in. See more.
What information do you need from me?
As an LP you sign up to Orca by providing your; Full name, business phone number and email, the name of your employer, and your role / department.
We share only the data you would like us to share and only with the GPs that you contact.At the outset, only the data that we need for us to verify you as a user is shared and this only with the GPs that you have contacted yourself.
A specific GP is not on the platform?
If a GP or Strategy is not on Orca you can request it directly on the platform and we will endeavour to get this GP / Strategy uploaded as soon as possible.
Alternatively let us know on support@balentic.com specifying the name of the GP, the specific Strategy, and if possible, any contact information including website that you might have.
Can GPs find and contact me?
No, until you as an LP user contacts a GP you are anonymous on Orca. Furthermore, as opposed to some much used and well-known databases in Private Markets, the GPs cannot use Orca to search and find LPs with.
